FAQs

Bravo Youth Sports Portable Sign

How does Bravo define a "qualified need" for a scoreboard?

Simply by determining if a venue hosts multiple games on a fairly regular basis. For example, if the Bravo rep sees that a board is needed for multiple soccer, baseball and basketball games during the year it constitutes a "qualified need" for a scoreboard!

Is there a limit to how many boards you will donate to a community?

No. We donate based on the "need" as defined above. Almost all communities need multiple boards since youth sports traditionally utilize multiple fields that host several games on a given day.

If one of our "donated" boards is accidentally damaged do we have to reimburse Bravo?

No. In fact in most cases Bravo will replace the board with no penalty. However, if a pattern of "accidents" is seen OR if misuse or abuse of the product is apparent we may withhold any yearend bonus payment to the teams until we are satisfied that the problem is corrected.

How do we qualify for the yearend bonus? How much money is it?

Bravo only asks that the team makes a consistent effort to "Use it and Don't Abuse It". Utilize the scoreboard at your games and don't damage it through negligence or neglect. Normally, the bonus is $100 per board per year.

What do we have to do to replace a defective unit?

Contact Bravo (email or phone) for a Return Authorization. When the new product (scoreboard, battery or remote control) arrives simply follow the simple return instructions and return the defective item to us.

What criteria does Bravo have regarding the kind of ads they will accept?

Bravo will not solicit or accept any advertising promoting harmful products (tobacco, alcohol, etc.) or accept any sponsors inappropriate for youth venues. If there is any question the user of the scoreboard has the final say on what ads are acceptable for them.

Will we need to assign another person to run the scoreboard at the games?

Bravo will not solicit or accept any advertising promoting harmful products (tobacco, alcohol, etc.) or accept any sponsors inappropriate for youth venues. If there is any question the user of the scoreboard has the final say on what ads are acceptable for them.

What is the Mobile Text Marketing option that Bravo offers?

Sponsors may opt to request fans to text them directly for discounts, coupons or additional information. Sponsors may have their own numbers or use the Bravo number for a small one-time fee. For example, a sponsor ad might read "Text Dairy Barn to 99595 for Game Day Specials". The sponsor can update their special offers at the 99595 location as often as they like. Fans and sponsors both benefit from the variety of offers they receive.
